I have been finding that I am becoming a big fan of cozy mysteries. They are light and fun reading. Many are centered around other interests too like baking, needlework, gardening, and yes even genealogy. I find it fun to pick one of these up when I want to enjoy a good, fun, light mystery and have been finding new authors that I like.
Check into reading a good cozy mystery if you haven't and let me know what your favorite authors of cozy mysteries are.
Some new ones I have found are:
Sue Ann Jaffarian and her Granny Apples mysteries
Susan Kandal and her Cece Caruso mysteries
Emily Brightwell and her Mrs. Jeffries mysteries
Alice Kimberly (Cleo Coyle pen name) Haunted Bookshop mysteries
I am also looking forward to
Daryl Wood Gerber ( Avery Aames) new series coming out Cookbook Nook mysteries. Her first book in the series "By Hook Or By Cookbook" is suppose to debut in July 2013
I hope you will pick up a cozy and then leave me a comment on what you are reading or if you have a new author you like
Might I point you to my novel Granny Smith Investigates by G M Dobbs. Great blog
