I am so glad that it is the weekend. I have been sick with a cold for two weeks but this week I have really been sick. Sleeping a lot and just feeling bad. Today is somewhat better but so glad it is the weekend and can rest all weekend. I know they say this is a bad year for the flu so glad we got the flu shot. Hope everyone is doing okay and avoiding this flue and cold that is going around.
I haven't been feeling like doing anything at all so this is the first day I have felt like posting. Hoping to get back in the swing next week. Until then Stay Warm, drink lots of Orange Juice and stay well.
This blog is a place to discuss my love of mystery books with others. It will be about what books I am reading, and hopefully others will share what they are reading too, as well as a place to talk about some of our favorite authors and keep up with their new books and series. It is a place to explore new authors that others enjoy and find new books to love. It is a place for all to come and share their love of books especially mysteries.

Throw Back Thursday Where my love of Mysteries started
When I was a kid my first favorite mystery series was The Bobbsey Twins series. I loved those books and tried to read as many of them as I could. I think reading them as a young child started my love for mysteries and I have never stopped loving them. I think that even though these were written along time ago that kids today could still read them and enjoy them. The first one I read was
The Bobbsey Twins The Secret at the Seashore by Laura Lee Hope.
The twins get invited by their Aunt to come the the Seashore to visit and when they do they meet new friends and find adventure. It is a fun book and you could share them with your kids or grand kids even today. I would recommend.

Back and Ready to GET READING
<a href="http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/7447347/?claim=z46kug8w2g8">Follow my blog with Bloglovin</a>
I know it has been awhile since I posted anything, but the end of 2013 was kind of hectic. I had to have surgery and had an infection twice so didn't get much reading let alone blogging done. I am back and doing good now. The biopsy was benign and I am back to being able to lift and do normal things again including finding time to read. I have added my blog to Bloglovin in hopes to get more followers to share what we are reading together.
Upcoming reviews are:

Pies and Prejudice (A Charmed Pie Shoppe Mystery #1)
by Ellery Adams,
I have decided to join http://aprairiegirlreads.blogspot.com in reading all of Agatha Christie's books and short stories this year and also to join her cozy mystery book club. January we are reading Ellery Adams books so I started with her first in the Charmed Pie Shoppe series.
I hope to start reading and posting more and to get caught up on sending things out to everyone and get back to normal whatever that is.
What are you all reading and have you joined any challenges in your reading for 2014.
So until next time:
GRAB A CUP OF COFFEE OR TEA, SOME CHOCOLATE, AND A GOOD BOOK AND KEEP READING!
