Good intense fun cozy mystery
By The Fright of the Silvery Moon A Ned McNeil Mystery by Blanche Day Manos is a wonderful hair-raising, toe-curling, suspenseful, fun mystery you won't want to miss.
Ned has inherited her Uncle Javin's family home, Granger Mansion, and is trying to fulfill his request that she find out and write the history of the house. Her research unearths a mystery that just may be putting her in danger and leads to murder. Can she figure out the mystery of the house, the old church and the legend that surrounds both without being hurt or anyone else for that matter?
This is a great mixture of suspense, mystery, faith, friends and tension. I love how Blanche Manos combines just enough scary situations to keep you on the edge of your seat yet not terrifying to the point of you not wanting to read more.
This is the second book in the series and this second book picks up where the first one left off. It shows how Ned is settling in and finds her niche in EdnaLee. I enjoy the camaraderie of Ned and her friends Pat and Jackie, as well as her love interest in Cade. Whenever Ned gets into trouble she can count on them to jump right in and help her.
This book grabs you from the very first paragraph with Ned's nightmare and keeps you riding along through all the adventure until the end. It has twists that you don't see coming and a puzzle within a puzzle. When I got to the end I was already looking forward to the next book to see what Ned gets into.
I have to say Ned is braver than I would be. One example of this is when she hears a noise in her basement and decides to get a flashlight and go check it out. All I could think is don't go down there you know how that always ends in scary movies, nothing good ever happens.
I loved this book and I don't want to give any of it away so lets just say if you like a good mystery with strong characters, good friends, good puzzles to figure out, and a few hair-raising situations you need to read this book.
Blanche Day Manos has a way with words that pulls you into the story and takes you on a ride right along with the characters in the book. I couldn't put it down. I can not wait to read the next book in the series.

Another Hit with Oh, Fudge by Nancy Coco
Oh Fudge by Nancy Coco has all the right ingredients, a wonderful setting on historic Mackinac Island, great characters, an unique puzzle and just enough tension that stirs up into a fantastic mystery.
I say this every time but I think this is the best book in the Candy Coated Mystery series thus far. Allie who is a strong, smart, kind person seems to have a knack for landing right in the middle of trouble.
I just love how dedicated she is to the family business and making her Grandpa's legacy at the McMurphy a success. I have always wanted to go to Mackinac Island and this book takes me there with how the author paints the picture of the island and all its wonderful charm.
The camaraderie of Allie, Jenn, Frances, Mr Devaney and Sandy is another big part that makes this book and series work, they have become one big family and this book makes you feel as the reader a part of their group. Throw in the tension that Trent, Allies boyfriend , who I think doesn't appreciate Allie enough causes, of course I won't give it away but let's just say It just adds another dimension to the story. Oh boy did Trent get my dander up with his shenanigans, I hope Allie moves on. I like Officer Rex better for her anyway.
Allie once again finds herself in the middle of a murder mystery but this time her cousin Torie is the most likely suspect when Allie finds her over the body in the Butterfly House. Allie had no idea Torie was even on the island and here she finds her holding the murder weapon over the body. How is Allie going to help prove Torie isn't the killer, even when Torie seems to have a grudge against her and stay out of danger herself? Who is the killer and why was Barbara, a person people disliked for many reasons, killed. Can Allie help solve this puzzle, run the McMurphy and Fudge shop, help with Frances and Mr Devaney's wedding and all while dealing with a spiteful cousin.
The whole puzzle behind this mystery takes some surprising turns and add to that the self centered bratty cousin Torie who seems resentful of Allie trying to help her and you are on an ever turning ride through the twists and unexpected turns to solve the murder. I like a good mystery that has unexpected problems and suspects turning up in it and this one has just that.
Nancy Coco has another wonderful hit with this book. You will get caught up in the mystery and won't want to put it down.
I loved this book and series. 5+ stars

Captivating Southern Mystery 5 Stars
A new favorite cozy. Tonya Kappes has written another captivating cozy that you just want to savor and when you come to the end you wish there was more.
I love the small town with all it's southern charm. This book pulls you in and makes you want to sit a spell at the Bean Hive helping solve mysteries with Roxie while taking in the surrounding community of Honey Springs. I can just picture walking down the streets wandering through the shops of Honey Springs.
I was glad to see that Patrick is startng to open up more to Roxie and actually helps her solve the murder of Fred Hill. I at first didn't think I was going to like her Mother but she grew on me. I love Aunt Maxi and her outspoken ways.
This is the second book in the series and I think each one gets better and better. The characters are growing, the mysteries are unique, and the twists keep you guessing. It is a mystery that you don't figure out fast on your own but one that keeps, you right along with Roxie puzzled till the end.
I can not find enough adjectives to describe how much I love this book. If you enjoy a cozy with a wonderful setting, good characters, a excellent mystery with a little romance then you won't want to miss this one. I can't wait for the next book.

5 Stars for Southern Fried A Kenni Lowry Mystery by Tonya Kappes
![Southern Fried (A Kenni Lowry Mystery Book 2) by [Kappes, Tonya]](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51MgY%2BIGKhL.jpg)
Tonya Kappes has served up another helping of a charming cozy mystery with Southern Fried A Kenni Lowry Mystery.
I love this series with all it's southern charm, cast of strong characters, a ghost and a good always intriguing mystery.
Kenni Lowry the sheriff of Cottonwood has to find out who murdered Owen Godfrey and still try to hold her job as sheriff at the election coming up. She has so many suspects and motives it is a challenge for her and her every handsome, charming Deputy Finn. Can she solve the murder, catch the suspect, and keep her job?
This book is even better than the first one in the series. Kenni is growing and becoming more confident as the sheriff. She is smart, intuitive, can be emotional and brave. She also has her Poppa albeit as a ghost now, to bounce her ideas off while trying to solve the crimes like they use to do when he was alive and the sheriff of Cottonwood. With Finn as her deputy they are a dynamic pair in solving crime.
Poppa is a hoot. I love how he watches out for Kenni but also pops in at times talking to Kenni when she is trying hard not to let anyone see her talking to the air. How would it look if the towns people saw her talking to no one and it sure wouldn't help her win the upcoming election.
Her Momma is a ball of fire when it comes to defending her daughter. She clouds up and rains all over anyone that talks bad about Kenni and when they are out to elect someone else she, well let's just say, you wouldn't want to cross her on her crusade to get Kenni re-elected even if she wishes her daughter wasn't sheriff she still has Kenni's back. She is the best. I love all her antics and fussing. She is like all of us as Mothers tend to be, Mother Bears, when she thinks someone is trying to hurt her daughter.
This mystery involves a dysfunctional family, an old cookbook, and rivalry that all ends up in a murder that is a puzzling mystery with surprises along the way. You have so many suspects, but not too many, twists, an election, a ghost, an overbearing mother hen, a good looking deputy, and one excellent cozy mystery that you can't put down.
This mystery has all the right ingredients served up in a unique wonderful cozy mystery that you won't want to miss or put down.
I give it 5+ bookmarks

A New Cozy Mystery Series You Won't Want To Miss Kale To The Queen by Nell Hampton
![Kale to the Queen: A Kensington Palace Chef Mystery by [Hampton, Nell]](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/61RbZiu4jtL.jpg)
Kale To The Queen A Kensington Palace Chef Mystery bk 1 by Nell Hampton is a great new cozy mystery series that you won't want to miss. It has all the right elements starting with a smart, spunky, brave character in Chef Carrie Ann Cole. I think she is very courageous and brave for taking on her dream job, leaving everything behind including a long time boyfriend, and moving to London to be a personal chef for the Duke and Duchess at the palace where it is make it or you're gone. I don't know if I could do that. Add the extra pressure of all the regulations and rules that comes with being part of the Kensington Palace staff and Chef Carrie Ann Cole has to be a strong confident woman, which I always like in a main character.
The pressure grows when Carrie Ann has to deal with the cantankerous bullheaded picky Chef Butterbottom. Wow there were times I would have wanted to just slap him if I had been Carrie Ann, but that just isn't done especially in the service of the Duchess!
You also have an electric tension that goes between Chef Carrie Ann Cole and the handsome yet stick to the rules head of security, Ian Gordon, and the sparks fly. I enjoyed the verbal battle back and forth between Chef Cole and Chef Butterbottom as well as the tension and spunk Chef Cole displays when she is around Ian Gordon. She never backs down to either one and I like a character that can hold their own in all kinds of situations.
The murder of her kitchen assistant and the other assistant being arrested for the murder makes for a good puzzle and one that Carrie Ann is thrown right in the middle of when she finds the body. In between her cooking for the family she decides to play detective and prove that Michael her assistant is not the murderer. She gets into some dangerous sticky situations that keep you guessing, which I always like, along with a mystery that you can't figure out right away and that has several possible endings. This book has all that and more.
I just love British mysteries so this one caught my interest from the start. I love how the author draws you into the surroundings and you can just imagine what the Palace must be like. On the trips into London Chef Cole makes on the tube or walking you feel like you are riding the tube right along with her and feeling the nervousness she feels when she is walking the dark streets of London. The descriptions of the palace, the streets of London and riding the tube makes you just picture the place easily as if you are going with Chef Cole in her adventures which makes the book even better.
I really am looking forward to the next book in this series and to see more situations Chef Carrie Ann Cole finds herself in.
Oh and by the way there are recipes. WIN WIN
I hope you will give this book a try.

Funny Charming 5 Star Read You Won't Want To Miss A Ghostly Reunion by Tonya Kappes
Funny, Charming, Fantastic, Great, read, can you tell I love this book A Ghostly Reunion A Ghostly Southern Mystery book 5 by Tonya Kappes.
A Synopsis: Emma Lee Raines sees dead people
A Synopsis: Emma Lee Raines sees dead people
Proprietor of the Eternal Slumber Funeral Home, Emma Lee can see, hear, and talk to ghosts of murdered folks. And when her high school nemesis is found dead, Jade Lee Peel is the same old mean girl—trying to come between Emma Lee and her hot boyfriend, Sheriff Jack Henry Ross, all over again.
There’s only one way for Emma Lee to be free of the trash-talking ghost—solve the murder so the former prom queen can cross over.
But the last thing Jade Lee wants is to leave the town where she had her glory days. And the more Emma Lee investigates on her own, the more complicated Miss Popularity turns out to be. Now Emma Lee will have to work extra closely with her hunky lawman to get to the twisty truth.
My Review:
When Emma Lee's high school reunion brings Jade Lee back to town and the town is swooning over her Emma Lee is seeing red, but when Jade Lee is murdered and Emma Lee has to help her cross over the fun just begins. Can she find the killer and put up with Jade Lee's ghost while keeping the town from thinking she has the Funeral Trauma? What will she find and can she find the killer without putting herself and others at risk?
I was so excited to receive and ARC of this book because it is one of my favorite series and I loved this book. Once again Tonya Kappes has combined a great mystery with exceptional characters, while making you feel right at home with the small town southern charm. I love Granny and how eccentric she can be. I love the rivalry between Emma Lee and her sister Charlotte Rae especially in there competition on who gets to do the funeral of the famous or infamous Jade Lee Peel. One of my favorite unusual lines is when Emma Lee catches her sister trying to wrangle Jade's father into choosing her to do the funeral. Emma Lee is furious and tells her sister " Just you remember" I warned, " the sun don't always shine on the same dog's tail all the time. I'll remember this" I laughed when I read this what a great line to end an argument with, southern charm at its best.
What better job could a funeral director have than being the one who sees the ghosts of murdered people and to help them cross over. It is a unique read where you have so many possible suspects and a good fast paced puzzle that you enjoy putting together while at times laughing out loud. It has all the right elements to make it a very enjoyable, interesting book that you don't want to put down or miss.
One of my favorite things is when Granny walks in and finds Emma still in bed. "Are you still in the bed?" Granny turned the corner into my bedroom . She flipped on the light. "Get up. It's six o'clock and it's not good for your mental health to sleep all day." So funny I am always getting into trouble with my kids and grand kids for telling them if they aren't up by 5 or 6 am that they are sleeping the day away. Granny would be so much fun to hang with.
I loved this book and can't wait to read the next one in the series especially on how this one ended. I couldn't believe it! Talk about a cliff hanger! I actually said out loud NO You can't leave us like this to which my husband start laughing at me. The ending was so unexpected the next book can't come out fast enough.

Grave Heritage A Darcy and Flora Mystery by Blanche Manos is an exceptional mystery
![Grave Heritage (Darcy & Flora Cozy Mystery Book 4) by [Manos, Blanche Day]](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51KrcX4P%2B7L.jpg)
Grave Heritage A Darcy & Flora Cozy Mystery by Blanche Day Manos is another great book in this series. I think each book has gotten better and this one is no exception. I love the relationship between Darcy and her mother Flora and how they are strong, faithful, intelligent women. This book grabs you from page one and keeps you reading because you never know what is going to happen next. I could not put it down.
Darcy and Flora have an unexpected visitor come to the door in the middle of a storm. The mystery starts right then when the man takes one look at Flora and runs only to be discovered later dead when Darcy stumbles over him at old Ben's house and Jasper is suspected of maybe murdering him. The mystery deepens when Mort the newspaper man dies too. There are other puzzles popping up, things from the past that Darcy is bound and determined to figure out, as well as a new mysterious Pastor. All of this adds up to one intriguing read. Will Darcy and Flora be able to figure out the mysteries, as well as try to clear poor Jasper of the murder before they are in danger too?
I really enjoyed this book. It has all the right elements with several puzzles, mysteries and more than one suspect with an unique situation or two where you don't see what is coming next. I love that they are women of faith and that the author Blanche Day Manos adds this into what makes these two women strong. I love the small town atmosphere and the way that the outdoors and nature plays into the story and adds that extra element of tension and uncertainty. I can not find enough adjectives to describe just how much I love this book and series. If you like a good cozy mystery with a good plot, puzzles, faith, strong characters then you have to read this book.
Blanche Day Manos has a way with her writing that you can just feel the tension and uneasiness that her characters feel. Here is one of many examples of that
"My scalp tightened and the hairs on my arms stood up. A strange feeling came over me. Someone, somewhere, was watching us. I gazed around the yard but saw no one. All was quiet. The serenity of the afternoon belied the loss of life which had happened here. Were my nerves so overwrought they were playing tricks on me? Obviously, no one was around, but the cold feeling of dread was real."
I love how Darcy explains about the small town Levi " Levi is a small town, I said, " and a stranger might think everyone here lives a peaceful, open life, but I believe we have as many secrets as we have trees. This quiet surface is deceptive." Doesn't that just imply so many puzzles and mysteries that Darcy and Flora still have to solve.
My most favorite quote that really struck a chord with me was when Darcy talked about how her mother Flora in the midst of all the chaos has a strength that she gets from her faith and she states how important reading the Bible is to her mother.
" I need to have my daily spiritual vitamins," she had told me more than once." Wow that is so powerful when you think about it.. Strength comes from our knowing and reading the Bible and boy do they both need it from what they have to face in this adventure.
I can't wait for the next adventure that Darcy and Flora find themselves in.

All You Need Is Fudge by Nancy Coco A Recipe For Another Great Mystery

Allie and Mal her dog have pulled a dead body out of the water and right before the annual yacht race on Mackinac Island. When her boyfriend Trent's sister Paige is accused of being the killer Allie has to prove she had nothing to do with the murder. When Allie starts nosing around things get dangerous for her when a trap is set for her. Will Allie be able to clear Paige, find the answer to who killed the victim Carin and why before she or someone else is hurt?
This book has all the ingredients that keep you turning the page and wanting more. It has an interesting plot with the murder of a society girl that is known for being a so called mean girl. Add in the highlight of being set on the quaint Mackinac Island. Then there is the characters that make you want to move right into the McMurphy Hotel, where you can almost taste and smell the fudge from the fudge shop and it all adds up to a charming, fast paced can't put it down mystery. It is a mystery that has twists to the plot that makes it not predictable and enough different suspects and angles that you have to keep reading to find out whodunit. Throw in a little romance, a lot of good recipes and you have a book you won't want to miss. I have read all the books in this series and they just get better with each book and did I mention it also has great recipes like Fudgie Cheesecake Brownies yum!
I enjoyed this book and think you will too. Don't miss this one. This is the fourth book in this series but you can read it as a stand alone if you want, but why would you want to when the other books are excellent too.
I received this book from the author for my honest opinion and review.

Sizzling 5 Star Mystery in Grilling The Subject by Daryl Wood Gerber
![Grilling the Subject (A Cookbook Nook Mystery) by [Gerber, Daryl Wood]](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51gIeUKGjmL.jpg)
Yee Haw another great book in Grilling The Subject A Cookbook Nook Mystery by Daryl Wood Gerber.
Crystal Cove is having a Wild West Festival where you can find wild west theme fun throughout the town as well as at the CookBook Nook where Jenna has cookbooks for all kinds of BBQ and Katie has rustled up some really spectacular bbq western themed recipes that make your mouth water. BBQ, rides, races and all sorts of fun is happening but then when Jennas father's neighbor, the trouble making, land grabbing, irritating Sylvia Gump is murdered and Cary Hart Jennas father is the number one murder suspect then things become unsettling and interesting. Jenna has to clear her father and find out who murdered Sylvia, which could be a number of people who she has made mad at her, before someone else ends up dead and her dad ends up in jail. Can she rope the killer, prove her dad innocent and insure that the cookbook nook keeps up with the wild west festivies?
This is probably the best book in the series so far. Each one has been good and each one has been better than the last. It is a fun, fast paced, but not predictable mystery that I really enjoyed. It is so easy to picture being in the small town of Crystal Cove and enjoying the Wild West fun and festivities. Coming from a city that has BBQ festivals I really could picture being right in the middle of all of it with the smell of smoking meat and bbq in the air. Then there are the characters that could be friends of mine and who doesn't want the eccentric intuitive Aunt Vera as part of your family. The all around theme, small town, mystery and characters make this a book you won't want to miss.
If you like a good mystery that has unique characters, an interesting plot and enough surprises and suspects to make it not the usual predictable mystery you will want to read Grilling The Subject.
It also has mouth watering recipes like BBQ muffins, which I can not wait to try and bbq sauce recipes included in the book and who doesn't like that.
I highly recommend this book and give it 5 stars. It is the 5th book in the series but it can be read as a stand alone if you haven't read the others. Really though I would recommend reading them too.
Don't miss out on this book you will enjoy.

Fixin' To Die by Tona Kappes A New Favorite Series

I loved Fixin' To Die A Kenni Lowry Mystery by Tony Kappes. It is one of those books you just can't put down. It catches you up right from page one and you gladly go along on the ride to find the killer right up to the final pages and the surprise ending. The only problem is when it's over it leaves you wanting more and wishing it hadn't ended.
Kenni Lowry has become sheriff after her Poppa, who was sheriff, dies. Things are going smooth but then she is hit with a murder and a theft all in one day to solve. A State Reserve officer is sent to help, the gorgeous Officer Finn and she gets a surprise helper too in that the ghost of her Poppa comes to help. Can Kenni solve these two crimes and keep the trust and respect of the people of the small town of Cottonwood? Who is the killer and how is it all connected? Will Kenni be up for the job? Will she find the killer before anything else happens?
This is a quirky, funny, full of surprises, book with great unexpected plots that all add up to a wonderful mystery with a surprising ending. I like when you think you have a mystery figured out only to find you had it all wrong. The small town with all the unusual characters makes up a fantastic part of this book too. I could just picture going around town with Sheriff Kenni while trying to solve the mysteries. Add in the Ghost of Poppa and a good looking Reserve policeman Finn and you have an extra element that makes this book great. I have a new favorite series with new favorite characters. I can not wait for the next book in this series.
If you love a great mystery, with many viable suspects, a surprise ending and you love a little romance thrown in with the paranormal you will want to read this book. Remember to give yourself the time to read because once you start you will have a hard time putting it down.
I have to add to that there were times I laughed out loud like when Kenni starts laughing hysterically
" A little giggle escaped me, turning into a hysterical laugh that caused me to take a seat on the edge of the tub, looking at myself in the full-length mirror. As much as I tried to keep it in, the laughter poured out of me and tears piled up on my eyelids." I laughed right along with her and had to explain to my husband what was so funny. I had tears when Kenni goes to Poppa's grave and talks to him. " Tears stung the rims of my eyes at the sheer thought of Poppa being gone" As the reader you get caught up in the emotions right along with the book. It is a fun, fast paced and excellent book. I highly recommend that you read this book and get to know Kenni Lowry and the rest of the people of Cottonwood.
I give this book 5+ stars.

A Mystery To Savor in As Gouda As Dead by Avery Aames
This is one of those books you can read and savor more than once. This is my second time to read it and I enjoyed it just as much as the first time.
As Gouda As Dead A Cheese Shop Mystery by Avery Aames is one you won't want to miss. The series just gets better and better with each book and this book is no exception. It is a great new addition to the series you won't want to miss. It has some great recipes included.
Love is in the air at Providence and every one is caught up in the festivities. Charlotte and Jordan are getting married, couples have come to take part in the Love festival activities so what could go wrong? Murder has a way of putting love on the back burner. Charlotte has to help the police chief solve the murders so that things can move forward. Can she help solve the murders or will her snooping get her into trouble, will she become the next victim?
I love this book. It was a page turner that makes you not want to stop until you have finished it. I love the way you can picture the town of Providence and the people. This could be a small town that is familiar to you and the people are so relatable. I know that some of the people in this book remind me of people I know and can relate to. This always is a plus when reading a book relating to the people and place. Who doesn't know a quirky Grandmere or a snooty control freak like Belinda Bell or Paige Alpaugh. I also like that Charlotte is a strong, clever, smart, and loving person that adds to the book. I love that the mystery winds around with twists and turns and multiple possible suspects that keeps you guessing till the end. I have to say I thought I had this one figured out but was surprised at the ending which always is good. I give this 5 Stars and can not wait to read the next book.

Moonlight Can Be Murder An Edge of Your Seat Book
Wow is the only thing I can think to say about this great book Moonlight Can Be Murder A Ned McNeil Mystery by Blanche Day Manos. I loved this book and I can not wait until the next one comes out.
Nettie McNeil gets a letter from her Uncle Javin after he gets out of prison that he wants her to come to her home town of Ednalee, OK because he needs to see her and strange things are happening. She goes and when she gets there she was looking forward to seeing him again but was terribly surprised when she finds him shot and dying. Now she is thrown into a murder and has to find out who killed her Uncle and why before she is next.
Nettie or Ned for short is a very level headed, strong willed and determined woman who is wants answers into what is happening and who murdered her Uncle. As a reader I immediately connected with her and was drawn into the mystery right along with her. I love the old Victorian home and land, it adds a dimension to the mystery and is such a important part of the story. I could just picture the house and wished to be sitting right there with Ned and her friends in front of the fire or at the kitchen table helping solve this mystery. I love a good mystery and this one is just that .
This book has so many possibilities and trying to tie all the loose ends up makes for a great puzzle to solved. I really thought I had this one figured out but then found I was only partly right and the why escaped me to the end.
This is an intense and at times emotional mystery. I could not put it down. If you like a good mystery, that keeps you on the edge of your seat and one that is full of possibilities and suspects then do not miss this book.
One of my favorite parts is when Ned sees a white figure head into her carriage house and decides to once and for all figure out what is going " Fear gave way to curiosity and a rising anger that someone or something would trespass and find it necessary to sneak around in the dark instead of coming to my door. "Please Lord, I whispered, "Protect me and help me find out what is going on." pg 148
Anger overcomes fear I can so relate to this.
Don't miss this great, spooky, intense, wonderful book. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic Read Oh Say Can You Fudge by Nancy Coco Releases 28 Apr 2015
Have you ever read a book that leaves you going Wow I love this book and leaving you wanting more? Well Oh Say Can You Fudge by Nancy Coco is that kind of book. I would give this book 5 plus stars and more.
This is the third book in the Candy Coated Series and each book has gotten better and better. Allie McMurphy is back with a bang in this book. She is settling in to the Island community on Mackinac Island and trying so hard to be one of the Islanders. She is in charge of the fireworks show for the Fourth of July festivities but things start going wrong when her pyrotechnics guy and the fireworks are blown up. Can she find out who has done this terrible deed and get things back on track for the Fourth before anything else goes wrong?
This is the best book of the series so far, and the other two were really good. Allie is more sure of herself and starting to fit in better with the island people. I really like how she is becoming more secure and self assured in this book. She is smart, confident and yet still the same sweet, nice and at times still naïve person. There were times I felt like I do in a scary movie when I am thinking don’t go in there or run the other way and the people just stand there or go in when they shouldn’t, I know you know what I mean, but then Allie and all the others have good instincts and deducing skills too. It is a good mixture of characteristics that makes Allie and the others, like Jen and Liz, who they are and who we love.
This book is more intriguing and tense than the others and I like that. The plot is great and there are so many different suspects that you won’t guess right away who is behind all the trouble or the reason it is happening. The book has twists and turns that lead you down a path to whodunit, several believable suspects as well as some romance and a lot of characters that you can relate to.
I have always wanted to go to Mackinac Island and reading this book makes me want to go even more. The Island itself is a very important unique part of the whole plot and book. I love the closeness that Allie has with her friends and the quaintness of the hotel and fudge shop. Fudge making brings back some great memories of my Grandmother and me making fudge together. I love the recipes that are included and can’t wait to make the Pecan Pie fudge.
I cannot say enough how great this book is and it can be read as a stand-alone book but the other two books are good too. I hope you will run right out and get this book I am sure you won’t be disappointed.

Another 5 Star Delicious Mystery To Fudge or Not to Fudge by Nancy Coco Wow Factor 5+
To Fudge or Not to Fudge A Candy-Coated Mystery by Nancy Coco is another great book from Nancy Coco aka Nancy J Parra.
Allie McMurphy who runs the McMurphy Hotel and Fudge Shop on Mackinac Island is busy keeping the place running and fudge made daily which would mean, you might think, she wouldn't have time to get into the middle of a murder investigation, wrong. When her old mentor comes to Island and asks her to be on a fudge making reality TV show how can she turn him down, but she wishes she had when things go from bad to worse including murder.
I never watch reality TV but it was fun reading about it in this book. Nancy shows just how these shows might really be run and it adds an extra dimension to the mystery.
